Apple, Cinnamon & Tonka Bean Hot Cross Buns
Candied apple, cinnamon and tonka bean in the dough. Finished with an apple glaze.
We dehydrate apple skins and mill them into a powder, then fold it through the dough for a deeper apple flavour.
Tonka bean is the seed of a South American tree (Dipteryx odorata), known for its aroma, often described as a mix of vanilla, almond and spice.
