Our Double Chocolate Hot Cross Buns are a rich, indulgent twist on a classic. We make them with a slow-fermented dough using organic flours and our natural starter, giving the buns a deep flavour and soft, tender crumb. Good cocoa runs through the dough itself, creating a dark chocolate base that’s not overly sweet but deeply aromatic.
Inside, you’ll find generous chunks of dark and milk chocolate that melt slightly as the buns bake, creating pockets of smooth chocolate throughout. We finish them with our signature cross and a light glaze for a gentle shine.
